Our Weight Loss Story
Like many other newly engaged couples....Tim and I wanted look our best in our wedding photos. After taking our annual trip to Rehoboth Beach in the Summer of 2009 and seeing just how much we were eating & what we were eating I knew we needed to make a change. In the beginning it was scary to give up our staples i.e. chinese food, red meat, pizza, etc. We started off doing the weight watchers & eating quite a few lean cuisines.
Eventually we found recipes we enjoyed that just happened to be healthy. We threw out the lean cuisines & started caring more about our health & the foods we put in our bodies. By the time the wedding rolled around I was down from 140 ibs to 113ibs (2 ibs below my goal weight) & DH was around 210 (down from approx. 275ibs!) Our wedding photos truly reflect just how happy we've become with our bodies.
